Sun Top means an open-sided arrangement

It changes the amount of sky above the group while retaining the open-sided character of the model. The foredeck and side walkways add places to move and settle.

This is different from the enclosed 37 XC Cross Cabin. If shelter from wind is central to the brief, compare those versions directly instead of treating every Axopar 37 listing as the same boat. The model described here is the Sun Top, with twin outboard engines and the corresponding open deck.

The aft deck is a choice, not a fixed promise

Axopar offers several aft arrangements, including open space, a wet bar, storage, a U-shaped sofa and an aft cabin. They change how lunch, lounging and swimming fit together. Ask for a view of the actual stern before making one of those features part of the plan.

The front cabin provides two berths; an optional aft cabin can add two more. That does not establish a four-person overnight charter by itself. Crew accommodation and the offered boat's operating arrangements still matter.

For a day, concentrate first on seating while underway, shade and the space left around the table.

A straightforward brief for the red coast

For a Mandelieu outing, a route along the Estérel can keep the coastline in view while leaving the group time to stop. A longer island-led booking has another rhythm, with more emphasis on lunch and a sustained pause near Lérins. The outboard layout also makes the bathing arrangement worth discussing.

Use of the stern and ladder is controlled by the skipper, with engines and conditions managed appropriately. Include any guests who find ladders difficult when enquiring. A clear description of how the party wants to spend the day is more helpful than asking only for a certain cruising speed.
